01  —  Why beeswax

Plastic traps moisture and turns a crackling crust soft and sweaty. Paper lets it go stale by lunch. A beeswax liner lets bread breathe — slowly — so tomorrow's slice still sounds like bread.

17in Tall enough for a whole boule, a batard or a halved baguette (about 17 × 12.6 in).
4oz Light and soft (about 100–120 g). Folds flat into a drawer when the loaf is gone.
5colors Wide café stripes or fine pinstripes, each with the same pale-honey beeswax liner.

02  —  Inside the bag

Three simple layers.
One good loaf.

01 / 03Oxford cloth

The outer bag

Soft stripes, sturdy weave.

A striped Oxford-cloth outer holds its shape on the counter and shields the loaf from light and dust.

The beeswax liner

Breathes. Wipes clean.

The pale-honey inner bag is coated in food-grade beeswax. It lets bread breathe while guarding against drafts and spills — and wipes clean with a cool cloth.

03 / 03Two buckles

The cuff

Fold. Clip. Done.

Fold the waxed cuff over the loaf and clip the two side buckles. No drawstrings to knot, no clips to lose.

08  —  Questions

Good
questions.

More answers on our FAQ page, or ask us directly.

What bread does it fit?

At about 17 × 12.6 in, it holds a boule, a batard, a sandwich loaf or a baguette cut in half.

Why beeswax instead of plastic?

Plastic traps moisture, which softens the crust. The beeswax liner lets the loaf breathe while protecting it from drafts and spills, so crusty bread stays closer to the way you bought it.

How do I clean it?

Shake out the crumbs and wipe the liner with a cool, damp cloth, then let it air-dry. Use cool water only — hot water, the dishwasher, the dryer and the microwave will melt the beeswax.

Can I store other food in it?

It’s made for bread, rolls and pastries. Please don’t use it for raw meat or fish.

How long does delivery take?

Shipping is free on every US order. The bread bag ships from our fulfillment partner’s warehouse overseas: allow 1–3 business days to process, then usually about 5–14 days in transit — up to three weeks in total. You’ll get a tracking link by email as soon as it ships. See our Shipping Policy.

What if it isn’t right for me?

If it arrives damaged or isn’t as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a replacement or a full refund. Shipping is free on every US order.
